Gig Report

Gig Report - Battle of the Bands ( St James's)

Gig Report - Ashstock 2009

This was BadPig as we have never seen them before, on a purpose built stage with an engineer out in the field 100 yards away, creating a balance that was perfection. The set they played was awesome and the speaker stack rocked! The crowd braved wind and rain to dance to their favourite band and were not disappointed. BadPig have some guts!

Gig Report - Jag's 40th Birthday Party

Gig Repor - Hotbuckle Fundraiser For Joshua Tour at The Riverhouse Barn

With part time member Fiona added to the sound this gig was a fuller sounding richer BadPig. The accoustics of the venue were wonderful and BadPig used it to their advantage. A set that is becoming legendary did not disappoint.

Gig Report - Burwood Golf Club 25th April

What a night, what a band. With songs as diverse as Abba's "Does your mother know" and Gabriella Kilmi's "Sweet about me" , the audience were on their feet from the start of the hour long set we were treated to by BadPig. They seem to grow in stature with every gig they do! A fantastic night!

Gig Report!

What can you say about a band like this that isn't going to sound cliched and do them any kind of justice at all? I don't know, so let's stick to the cliches. They were immense! They were inspirarational! They were dangerous! From the moment the drummer dropped his drumstick in the intro, they were on the edge, unpredictable, wild, paranoid, brilliant!

From a fan !

As a diehard fan, having seen them through from their turbulent days as “The Moobs” to their reincarnation as Bad Pig, I can safely say that this band is a must for anyone who likes to let their hair down and sing along to the music, which includes classics from The Rolling Stones, The Black Keys and The Undertones. One important change to the band has been the introduction of a female vocalist, which broadens their repertoire capabilities to include the likes of Kylie and Alanis Morisette. Two of the pre-existing male members of the band also take on lead vocals from time to time. There is a nasty rumour that Bad Pig are now branching out in to ABBA, to fulfil a Dance engagement. I am sure they will act as the true professionals that they are and rise to the occasion admirably. Surely it is just a matter of time before they start writing their own material?
